What do I feed my compost worms?

Here's a list of foods that my worms love:

bananas

apples

grapes

pineapple

melons of all kinds

cucumbers

carrots

potatoes

lettuce.......so basically all fruits and vegetables, raw or cooked. It's fine to feed them the strawberries that you put sugar on, but do not feed them any vegetables to which you added salt or butter. Salt and fat=Bad.

In addition, your worms will eat:

coffee

coffee filters

tea bags

egg shell (rinse them out first)

bread

pancakes (no butter)

Here's the list of things to put in the garbage can, not the worm bin:

Meat

Oil

Butter

Salted foods

Dairy product

bones

hot peppers

Here's the list of things to add sparingly:

onions

oranges

lemons

grapefruit

limes

So while we like sweet, salty and fatty foods, Red Wigglers only like sweet things and plain things. Got it?
